Who would have thought that the most powerful hybrid in Germany would belong to a Japanese car? The Infiniti M Hybrid took on all German competition during a recent event. Infiniti has even claimed "to have the fastest hybrid sedan on the market and aims to prove it," according to Auto Week.1

The Infiniti M hybrid weighs a mere 4129 pounds, and possesses a tremendous power-to-weight ratio of 11.46 pounds/horsepower. They certainly lived up to all the hype, as the vehicle was able to accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in about 5.7 seconds.
Power is not an issue with the M hybrid, and comes with a 3.5-liter V6 engine, which produces up to 360-horsepower, and 258 lb-ft of torque. What is equally impressive is that the electric motor adds 199 lb-ft of torque. Even with all this power the M hybrid achieves an impressive 32 mpg on the highway.
